The show
Ladies and gentlemen, the trunks open, the accordion sighs, and here comes the little Dezekol circus pitching its pocket-sized big top. A single artist on stage, but never a lone one: he has more than one trick up his sleeve, and even in his pockets. Balls and clubs waltz, cigar boxes clatter, and glowing objects trace stars in the dim light. The unicycle turns heads, the accordion makes the ring sing. And then there is the magic: scarves that change their mind, ropes with a will of their own, giant cards, canes, unlikely objects you never expected to see there.
In a retro, poetic atmosphere, this show revives the memory of circuses of old with the energy of today. A shared moment, full of surprises, to enjoy as a family.

The artist
Laurent BARATTERO began training as a child at the Campelières circus school (Piste d'Azur), and over more than twenty years took part in festivals, tours and competitions: Quebec, Louisiana, Tunisia, Monaco, Belgium, Italy, Sweden… a Céline Dion music video, medals at the unicycle world championships… A juggler, unicyclist, magician and accordionist, he now brings his whole journey together in a solo show with the flavour of circuses of old.
